This is the first and only pedestrian bridge to date, crossing Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd. in Sofia, providing a connection between the public transport stops and the building of the Experimentarium visitor center in the Science and Technology Park.
The facility was completed without stopping traffic on the busiest boulevard in Bulgaria, with the exception of the installation of reinforced concrete and metal beams, for which 1 window was provided from 5 a.m. at night. The project was implemented with the financial support of the Operational Program “Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy”.
The pedestrian bridge rests on 6 columns set on piles and is a five-span structure with opening lengths from 22.20 m to 26 m;
